Pun Cao Tong Herbal Tea & Desserts

Mango sago with glutinous rice balls.
I don't like how some of the rice balls are coloured pink. Also, they were a bit weirdly chewy. I think I prefer the larger, softer ones. Outside of the added rice balls, the clear tapioca balls were fine.

Jo's durian mango sago dessert.
Durian smells like wet garbage, but some people love it. Jess and Jo like this dessert place because they actually serve durian.

Jess's thing that's not on the regular menu.
She seems to get this often when we go here. I don't particularly love the flavour of it.

I had no idea what this was before ordering it, but there is a giant lit-up picture of it on the wall. And the picture looked good.
We actually lucked out. The next table saw our plate and wanted to order it, but the server told them we got the last plate. Ha! As to what they are, they're large glutinous rice balls filled with black sesame. There's a dump of peanut crush on top and the balls are covered in a sweet sauce. These were pretty good - much better than the glutinous rice balls in my mango dessert. I would order these again. They were warm, soft, and just the right amount of chewiness.

Would I return? Yup, but I wouldn't get the small glutinous rice balls - only the big ones.
